24A - Cancel Offer feature in OR (Oracle Recruiting)
24A has an exciting new feature that promises to streamline the workflow, saving recruiters valuable time and eliminating unnecessary clicks.
In the past, when recruiters had to revise an offer after moving a candidate to HR (pending worker record is created), they had to contact the HR specialist to cancel the work relationship – then wait for the scheduled background process to run and change the state in OR to “Withdrawn by candidate”. With the new feature, recruiters can bypass these complexities - no more contacting HR specialists to cancel work relationships or waiting for scheduled background processes.
Introducing the “Cancel Job Offer” action, accessible in Offer states such as Approved, Extended, or Accepted, any custom phase post-offer and HR phases (excluding the processed state).
The system efficiently handles the cancellation of the pending worker’s work relationship in the background on behalf of the user. This empowers users to execute the Cancel Offer or Redraft Offer action effortlessly with just a single click. Enhancing user convenience and efficiency in managing offer-related processes.
The “IRC_Cancel_Job_Offer” alert is available to promptly inform the offer team, including the hiring manager and collaborators, whenever a recruiter opts to cancel a job offer using the “Cancel Job Offer” action.
You can now use the Redraft Offer action for job applications that are in the HR phase.
Once the pending worker transitions into an employee or contingent worker, the visibility of the Cancel Offer and Redraft Offer actions is automatically revoked (HR/Processed).
Follow 3 easy steps to activate this feature:
- Enable the Profile Option – “ORA_IRC_OFFER_CANCEL_REDRAFT_ENABLED”.
- Grant necessary privileges – “Cancel Job Offer” and “Redraft Job Offer After HR Phase”.
- Configure the number of days in “End Dating Offer Assignments,” formerly known as “Prevent Redrafting Offers.”
