Oracle Recruiting - A Guide to Notify Recruiters Post RMI Completion
Often, we send the “Request More Information” (RMI) flow to candidates to gather additional details as they move through the hiring process. However, once candidates submit the RMI flow, recruiters are not notified. This blog is designed to address this gap, ensuring recruiters are promptly informed when candidates provide the requested information.
Navigate to Setup and Maintenance >> Recruiting and Candidate Experience >> Candidate Job Applications >> Candidate Selection Process Configuration:
Search and access the candidate selection process where you intend to add the notification feature. In my example, I have created a phase called “Documentation” during which candidates will receive the RMI to upload pre-offer documents.
At “Documents to be Received” state – I am sending the RMI:
I have defined the “Pre_Offer_Documents” as email in “Recruiting Content Library” as below which is used in “External Candidate Notification”:
Click “Continue,” then add the condition to trigger it only for external candidates (you can skip this step if you want to send it to both internal and external candidates). Finally, click “Save and Close.”
Once this is done – click on “Add Event” on phase actions and select “Request for Information Updated”:
An event gets added – now you can add your automatic triggers like move to next state or “Send Notification”.
You can do both the actions on this event only, but I usually prefer to move the state to next one and then add action “Send Notification”.
Choose “Continue,” then proceed to provide a name and select “Save and Close.”
Now at “Documents need to be verified” stage – we will add “Send Notification” action:
Before this create a notification in the “Recruiting Content Library”:
Select “Continue,” then proceed to add the name and click on “Save and Close.”
Few things to remember:
- Schedule ESS process “Perform Recruiting Candidate Selection Process Actions” every 5 minutes.
- Schedule ESS process “Send Job Application Notification” every 5 minutes.
