OR/ORC - Job Segmentation - handling visibility of jobs on Opportunity Marketplace
Are you looking to restrict the accessibility of job listings to internal employees within the Opportunity Marketplace?
Look no further – the solution you can employ is known as “Configure Job Segmentation”.
3 easy steps to do it:
- Enable profile option.
- Create Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles
- Create Opportunity Marketplace Jobs Configurations
Before you begin assign the below privileges to your account which are needed to create job segmentation configurations:
Privilege | Used for |
---|---|
BEN_MANAGE_BENEFIT_ELIGIBLITY_PROFILE_PRIV | Used to create new eligibility profiles for opportunity marketplace usage |
BEN_REST_SERVICE_ACCESS_BENEFITS_LOVS_PRIV | Used to select the Opportunity Marketplace eligibility profiles while creating job configurations. |
Below are the specifics for each step:
Enable profile option:
Goto Setup and Maintenance >> task “Manage Administrator Profile Values task” and search for the profile code: ORA_HCM_OPP_MKT_JOB_CONFIG_ENABLED and make the profile value as “Yes”.
Create Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles:
Navigate to: Setup and Maintenance Area >> Recruiting and Candidate Experience >> Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management. Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list and then Select “Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles”.
Click Create >> Create Participant Profile.
Build your “Eligibility Criteria”.
Note that you can use only those criteria which are related to their personal or employment information.
In my example I am creating a rule that the employees who are of person type “Nursing” should see Nursing jobs only (Recruiting type) and employee whose person type is Administration should see Admin jobs only.
Eligibility profile 1:
Eligibility profile 2:
Select “Opportunity Marketplace” from the Profile Usage if it is not already selected.
Create Opportunity Marketplace Jobs Configurations:
Navigate to: Setup and Maintenance Area >> Recruiting and Candidate Experience >> Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management. Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list and then Select “Opportunity Marketplace Jobs Configurations”.
On this page, you’ll find a comprehensive record of all currently active and draft configurations that have been defined. These configurations are presented in order of priority. Click Create.
Enter a configuration code, configuration name, select the eligibility profile and add the appropriate requisition filters. Click on “Save and Activate” to create the job configuration.
I have created 2 configurations one for Nursing employees and other for administration.
That’s it, now when you login as any employee who is of person type “Nursing” will only see jobs where recruiting type is “Nursing”.
Note: Upon a user’s login, the system applies the first active configuration that corresponds to their eligibility profile. Consequently, only the requisitions meeting the criteria of that specific job configuration are presented on the Opportunity Marketplace dashboard, streamlining the user experience, and ensuring relevance in displayed job opportunities.
